Market of Super Sports Car Will Be Back on Track In 2016

Here is good news for the car lovers after a repeated decline in the sales of super sports cars for three following years. According to the sources, the super sports car market is expected to be back on track this year. The super cars segment is predictable to outlook a high single digit growth due to improving economic response & return of the sports car manufacturer giants such as Maserati and Ferrari.

The recent confidence can be seen by the fact that two of the most expensive and exclusive cars the limited edition variants of Aventador LP Roadster and the Aventador LP Coupe, carrying a price tag of about Rs 8 crore were recently sold by Lamborghini in India.

Also, the Lamborghini, Italian Super Sports car giant introduced its new entry level sports car the Huracan LP 580-2 in India with price tag (Rs 2.99 crore - ex-showroom New Delhi), which also makes India the first market in Asia Pacific to get the vehicle in this segment.

In year 2014, due to rupee depreciation, hike in taxes the super sports car makers were not able to accomplish the targeted number. However, this year they hope the sentiment in the car market is stable & now customers are taking quick decision on making the purchase. Also, inauguration of new showrooms in Bangalore & Mumbai is in to do list of Fiat Chrysler Group Company. It has already setup a national sales company for Maserati.

With these major developments in the super sports car segment, we are hopeful that the sales will take a hike with an increasing rate in the FY 15 & will continue to show positive indications in FY 2016 as well.
